Learning the craft of teaching through Required Reading AS A TEAM
ACS values the continuing education of our teachers. Each year we conduct one or two book studies as a staff in hopes of further developing the craft of teaching. Below you will see a variety of books that we have studied over the years. Some of these books are available for teachers to check out.
ACTS (Accreditation) Required Reading
All teachers at ACS must select 4 books to read from the list below. Upon completion of reading 4 of the books below, teachers must submit a two page typed paper of their understanding of their Philosophy of
Christian Education. This paper will be submitted to the Principal for approval.

Knowing what a Biblical worldview is and having biblical integration in our lessons
All Christian Educators need to have a full understanding of what exactly a Biblical Worldview is and how to integrate it into our day to day lessons.
